It's time for the obligatory prediction. To live up to basketball writer expectations, I've listed my prediction for the order of the 2022-2023 Big Ten standings. I'll also add my own Tiers of teams to group similar teams together. There look to be five Tiers of teams in this year's Big Ten.

Big Ten 2022-2023 Predicted Order of Finish

1. Illinois (Tier 1)
2. Indiana (Tier 1)
3. Michigan (Tier 1)
4. Purdue (Tier 2)
5. Wisconsin (Tier 2)
6. Iowa (Tier 2)
7. Ohio State (Tier 3)
8. Michigan State (Tier 3)
9. Rutgers (Tier 3)
10. Maryland (Tier 4)
11. Penn State (Tier 4)
12. Minnesota (Tier 5)
13. Nebraska (Tier 5)
14. Northwestern (Tier 5)

Now we have a prediction to either marvel at its accuracy or laugh at its poor choices. Time will tell.
